In short: Well done to the team
In full: First time at Birchwood, and delighted to come back next year. Started with a warm up on the fun run with my daughter, and this too was very well organised and the marshalls friendly and encouraging.

The organisation throughout was excellent.

Don't worry about those 'climbs' over the motorways - come to Wales and try some real scenery :-)

In short: same as last year
In full: well organised, plenty of parking, no confusion, chip timing, fast course. I have run this twice now and will continue to return until i am too old! I liked the memento of a towel as it is different.

In short: Well organised, Fast course
In full: Good fast course, good atmosphere provided by lots of marshals. Great finishing straight. Just missed my PB by a few seconds - maybe next time...

In full: Really enjoyable race. Loads of parking and well signposted from the motorway.

I thought that the copious marshalls were excellent and really encouraging.

Love the towel (read about it in runners world last year and decided I wanted one !!!!) - will be back next year - am going for a full set of towels!!

Well done and thanks to all the organisers/volumteers.

In short: Great race. Excellent organisation, something for everyone!
In full: Not the prettiest race, but so well organised and pretty flat (but those motorway bridges are killers!).

Some far larger races could learn from the number of "Race this way" signs, and the general organisation. Marshalls really supportive.

Yes, I'd have preferred a t-shirt to a mud brown towel. But that's not the reason I ran it - so anything is a bonus.

A definite for 2010

In short: Well organised and fast 10K course
In full: the organisation was superb and with waht appeared to be hundreds of marshalls the race ran very well.

This was my first time and I read about the hills towards the end. However, based on other events ran this year this was positively flat thought the 'inclines' actually helped keep your pace.

This is a greta race and one that anyone can do and enjoy. Well done Spectrum Striders

In short: Ideal for the 1st timer or a PB chaser
In full: A great race, very well organised, thanks to everybody who gave their time to make this a special event, agreeded with the earlier comment that a medal would have been nice or a - Birchwood 10k t-shirt - rather than a towel

In short: Marshalls should come to this race as a training course
In full: Great organisation, good value for a chip timed race, good atmosphere, the motorway bridges are harder than they look and pleasant course. Second time I've done it, will do it again.
