In short: It was a hot one again In full: Marshalling on the course was a bit poor, the Marshalls spent their time encouraging but not directing Runners in the right direction or around any potential hazards. The loop around the green at the end was a bit of a farce as we didnt know where to go and the Marshalls spent their time shouting at confused runners instead of firm direction, clear sign posting would be better at the finish
But I enjoyed the race good quality momento Will do it again next year Date of review: June 18, 2006

In short: Well organised and great fun! In full: This race is well organised and great fun! The marshallers were encouraging and the route, part road, part grass was well thought out and interesting. It was a testing 10k with some long uphill stretches...perfect for overtaking those who had neglected their hill training or started too fast! This was another of those wonderful smaller races where the local atmosphere and friendliness really sets you up for the week ahead. Date of review: June 18, 2006

In short: For an inaugural race, this was really good and very enjoyable In full: Great first effort. This was ideal for the unaffiliated runners and clubs not at the top of the scale - I'm from Bournemouth Joggers and whilst we make a slight impression in the likes of league races, we actually made a very good impression here - lovely medals (very unique) but it was a shame that they didn't go down further (only first place in each age group) and there wasn't a team prize - this was probably the only time we've come first and there was nothing to show for it! Never mind. Well done. We will definitely be back next year! Date of review: June 12, 2005
