In short: Tough but good first mile
In full: Very enjoyable morning well organised, the hill is a challenge at the start but afterwards its mostly all downhill.

In short: Challenging short steep hill at start, with longer hill towards end
In full: Luckily the half didn't have the marshalling issues associated with the 10km.
Could do with more toilets, and proper chip technology, but nevertheless a good race.

In short: First time at this event, I will come back!
In full: After the first tough climb the course was not too bad. Very well organised, well done to all those at Handy Cross.

In short: Well organised - reasonably fast course - great goody bag, medal, t-shirt etcc
In full: Well organised event. Easy to park, good changing, toilets etc. One challenging hill but the rest pretty flat. Great medal, t-shirt, and goody bag. Minor gripe that some sections had no footpath and a fair amount of traffic, but overall a good race.

In short: Well organised, challenging, rewarding half marathon
In full: Challenging with a proper hill in the first mile, proper descent half way round and is flat to undulating for the rest. Well organised in that marshalling on the half route amongst the best you'll come across, lovely start/finish area, bag stuffed with edibles, nice medal and a T. Rewarding in that although not really a PB course if you work through the difficult bits you can post a pretty fast time and the workout will stand you in good stead.

In short: Brilliant meeting
In full: At 1.5k the hill from hell kicks in for the next kilometre which was a mare but set the rest of the run up just nicely.

This was a brilliantly organised meeting - the 10K was started with the half marathon which made the first 3k (where they split the the runners) a great start given that there was so many runners. Everything went like clockwork - really well marshalled and the finish was really welcoming. Loved this meeting and I will absolutely be back. Generous goody bag from the sponsors. Five stars!

In short: Potential to be a good race, but marred by marshaling issues
In full: I was one of the runners who ended up (obliviously) going the wrong way today. No marshals at a key point, and none of the spectators knew which way to go.

This really shouldn't happen in such a big race, particularly when marshaling was so good elsewhere on the course. They just didn't seem ready for the 10k runners.

Feel a little cheated, and feel sorry for both those who ran the correct course and those who didn't.

I was first female by quite a long way and had been throughout. I normally run 37 minutes for 10k and my time isn't too far out, despite the hills. My Garmin measured my route as just over six miles (but the "detour" involved running through roadworks).

In short: Lots of Challenges
In full: As a seasoned runner this was only my second run at Wycombe but I do love how well organised and how good all the facilities are. This race is easy to get to, easy to park, toilets are plentiful and there are good changing and shower facilities. This is topped off with the best goody bag and there as well as a T shirt and an impressive looking medal! Wycombe: what is your secret because the entry cost is one of the lowest!!

The race itself is very challenging so dont expect a PB, but always worth trying to come back and improve on this course. Big hill at the start as well as ups and downs throughout, top this with traffic and pavement running makes it all the more tiring.

For me thats what this race is about and I cant recommend it enough.

Well done to all the marshalls and organisers.
