In short: Mud and hills, bring it on. In full: My first multi terrain race and I loved every minute of it. Finished a lot faster than I thought I would. The hills seem to go on forever but the scenery is outstanding. Sunny but with lots of mud, will certainly be doing more multi terrain after this event and will be back at Eastnor next year. In short: Great run - especially in the rain. In full: I really enjoyed Sunday - improved on the time I took last time, which must be down to the weather conditions this year (certainly not my fitness!). The marshals were fantastic as the rain poured down. Will be back next time. Date of review: May 17, 2007

In short: Adverse conditions, but great race In full: Perhaps it was the torrential downpours, especially during the second half, and whilst running around the Obelisk, and the muddy slopes than cuased several falls, but this was a great day out. Set by Eastnor castle, with views to it from the Deer Park, this was a well-organised race, which had me reduced to walking at times, and sprinting like a maniac at others! Top run. In short: Fantastic Fun Run In full: Loved this race! Lost count of how many different surfaces you run on plus there is a fantasic down hill section in the middle which was built solely for sprinting pleasure! Bring on next year! Oh yeah! Nearly forgot! The rain was awesome!!! Date of review: May 14, 2007

In short: Multi-terrain (deerpark, rutted tracks, wooded hillsides, bit of road, lots of mud) In full: Field of 350 versus the Magnificent Seven around part of the grounds of Eastnor Castle (Ledbury near Hereford) - a few proper ascents and many undulations in drizzle, then rain showers and finishing in a downpour downhill to the finish but a great day out. Basically a kick-ass 7-Miler if youre bored of flatish town 10K's. Date of review: May 13, 2007
