In short: One of my favourite races, but I'm biased.
In full: Much more civilised conditions than last year because the mud had dried out to normal standards. The only dangers were stampeding horses at the coombe (for those in the 90 min final time bracket and which were happily later safely recovered) and the rutted track down to the final water station which took a few casualties, do take care here.I love this race, but I am a club member, so take it all with a pinch of salt.

In short: Not enough mud!
In full: I preferred the mud last year, but the organisers can't control the weather. Everything else was excellent, happy friendly marshals make so much difference.I shall be back! The only complaints I heard were to do with the lack of small T shirts.

In short: Great scenic tough run!
In full: Excellent, well organised race with lots of friendly, helpful marshalls. Scenic, a good part of the race over open countryside, with some brutal hills to make it tough but great fun.

In short: Amazing views
In full: A hard course with some crazy up hill sections. Much much harder than Weston Tough 10 last week and almost as enjoyable as The Sodbury Slog. Well organised with plenty of water stations. The views at the top made up for the struggle to get up the steep bits. See you all next year.

In short: Mad, tiring, wet, mucky fabulous day out
In full: This was my first off road race and would have been even harder in wet conditions! Thanks to Vale of Pewsey RC for a well-organised friendly event - worth the journey.
