In short: As tough as I thought it was going to be until the final hill (mount suicide) which was a hands and kness job up! then my legs went to sleep! This is a great race, character building, forget PB, just make friends and grit your teeth Will you be back!

In short: Thank god for Mud Claws!
In full: My first time at the Terminator and gave me an opportunity to christen my Mudclaws which handled the mud admirably.
Still couldn't see the point of that final hill straight up then back down Pewsey White Horse, apart from the fact that it was there!

In short: mud, hill, mud, hill, mud, hill, then more mud.
In full: My first time and although I knew it was going to be tough going due to the rain on saturday I still didn't expect to be wading thigh deep in mud! This on top of the lung busting hills my legs are well and truely terminated today. Well done PVRC for a great day.

In short: My first Terminator and wow was a buzz
In full: My first time at an event of this type so I was in road shoes which kind of made it more fun , nearly ended up in the canal a few time and as for the hills more like mountains for me even the decents were a challenge. The marshals were all great , I will be back next year with the correct footwear

In short: Muddy fun!
In full: I love this race. This was my 2nd time and due to the weather it was a completely different experience this year. I thought it was pretty muddy last year but boy-o-boy this years mud was something else! Slippy slidey fun all the way around. Didn't really notice the weather in the end as was soaked from falling in the 1st stream crossing! Sadly you don't get to appreciate the beautiful scenery as you really have to concentrate on where you are putting your feet at all times. I will defo be back year after year for this great race. Big thanks to the marshalls for remaining cheery in the wind and rain.

In short: Bogtastic
In full: Done this race for a few years now; there's something about doing stuff that you're mum told you you shouldn't (principally jumping in streams and playing in the mud) that can't fail to put a smile on your face after the 9 to 5 of the week.

This year was muddier and slippier than last time I did it, so PB went out of the window, but still very pleased with performance. Very impressive spread of cakes at the end most welcome. Only teensy weensy black mark would be for the state of the dribblers in male changing area (calling them showers is an insult to showers ;-) ) other than that no probs.

Tips for those who have not done before:

1) Really do not even think of wearing road shoes unless it's been bone dry for 30 days previous.
2) Do not wear shoes you worry about getting dirty.
2) Forget PB's
3) Enjoy.

Great race.

In short: Hardest race I have ever run but gee do I feel amazing for having got to the finish line. Never seen mud like this, perhaps a mile of firm surface to run on. The hills were soul destroying on the way up. I think I'll be back.
