In short: Good atmosphere - lots of goodies.
In full: You need to be ultra careful on the Amersham Road stretch (the guy in front of me twisted his ankle in a drain and fortunately avoided falling into the road which is quite busy). The last mile isn't, so presumably the others are long to compensate. You need to get in the queue for loos (ladies) early and it is difficult to get in and out of the Race HQ.

In short: Good cause, lovely bunch of people, enjoyable course. Shame about having to wait until 5m for the first drinks station.

In short: Interesting distance. Great marshall. Terrible map!!
In full: The instructions issued were quite unclear as to where the Working Men's club was and as the sign had been knocked over, we missed it a couple of times!! However, that was the only moan - start was great with the band, route was challenging but do-able and the marshalls were very supportive given driving wind and rain. The last downhill mile was very exhilarating and the support at the end made it all worthwhile. Excellent goody bag, refreshments and banana. Thank you!!

In short: Loved this run! Hills were managable and a downhill finish is always a bonus.
In full: First 9 mile run so obviously got a PB! Thought it was really well organised and good value for money. It wasn't as hilly as I had been expecting which was good but I hadn't been prepared for the long single-file running along a busy road. Took a bit of getting used to! My only gripe is that there didn't seem to be any warnings along the roads for cars letting them know about us runners. Hopefully will be back next year!
