In short: Good Race and a PB on a flat course.
In full: Better than last year. Will put this in the calendar for next year. The Athletes village was a good idea as was the whole thing with the run itself.

In short: A well organised run and lots of marshalls !
In full: I enjoyed the half ! Completely different to last years fiasco when I couldn't cross the finish line and got alloacted a finish time 45mins after I'd finished ! Everything ran like clockwork, loads of loo's, marshalls, water stations !

Also, why are some people slating the the marshalls ? They gave up THEIR time to allow this race to go ahead ! I think they are great !

In short: Much improved.
In full: The start/finish area was far better than last year, although the time zones could have been adhered to a bit better.
There were still not enough loo's for the number of people (many using the ditch), although it was better.
The support was good, perhaps some bands in the quieter areas would cheer things up.
The water stations could have been MUCH longer. I totally missed a drink at one station, because there were so many people trying to grab a drink and what seemed like only two tables worth of drinks. Open bottles are hard to use while running, it's like an egg and spoon race to keep the water in the bottle.
Overall, a good race with most people coming away with a good time.

In short: What an improvement on last year!
In full: Much better organisation, better start, more water stations and toilets along the route. Chip timing and a larger finish area made the end of race smooth and fast to get through. Things to improve on for next year would be to have sports top water bottles and possibly some entertainment at more demoralising points along the race.

In short: Glad it had a second chance!
In full: Overall a good day, and no problems at the start and finish areas - managed to make my customary 2 pre-race loo queues with no trouble!
Suggestions for the future would be: the bag storage should be supervised - I dropped off and collected my own bag, and could easily have taken someone else's, had I wanted to...
As the only sheltered areas were the changing areas, My male companion and I couldn't shelter from the cold wind pre-race together, which didn't help pre-race nerves...
Since the organiser's have so clearly listened to what runners wanted after last year, I think this race will go from strength to strength, and hopefully get more local support each year.
A good day out - thank you!
