In short: Nice race, friendly marshalls
In full: Nice scenic race especially going uphills, brave marshalls tackling some impatient drivers.Enjoyable mix. Not easy to finish in an ascent.

In short: Good "local" race. Wouldn't travel miles for it.
In full: Good organisation. The organisers worked well with the limitations imposed by the split site (toilets at the finish but not at the start, etc).

The hill on Palesgate Lane was good value: a nice challenge, but steep enough to spike most peoples' aspirations for a PB.

Good marshalling with plenty encouragement from them. Welcome tea and cakes at the end. Not worried about the absence of a goody back, but would willingly have paid a couple of £ more for chip timing.

I live locally so will almost certainly do it next year, but I probably wouldn't travel the 50 minutes each way that I did for Leatherhead a couple of weeks ago. It's good, but IMO not worth a long journey to attend.

In short: Superb race and the reward is the finish - a sense of achievement to have hit and run palesgate twice!
In full: Crowborough Runners thank you for another great event. The slight hassle of having the race HQ a walk away from the parking and start is completely compensated by the excellent organisation, and the facilities at the finish. Lovely hot power showers, good changing , and terrific selection of food and a nice hot cuppa really make this an enjoyable day. Brilliant will be back. PS I liked the added touch of a Lucozade stand giving out freebies!

In short: Certainly a challenging course, will definately run next year
In full: Ran it a day after having food poisioning, just glad i made it to the finish. The ford is a nice touch and that hill twice is certainly a challange, can't wait to run it again next year when I'm not ill. All good fun though, very well organised and definately one to put in the diary for next year, if you like a challenge!
