In short: Enjoyable event well organized on the day - any shortcomings were minor
In full: Seems to be regarded as a bit of a novelty race - not too many "serious" runners, and my (very) modest time was still good enough for a top 50 finish.
Point-to-point course (obviously) - this time the wind was behind over the last 3.5K on the prom from Seacombe - so it felt quite pleasant - this time.
Not really enough portaloos - need at least twice as many.
Excellent start location - wide roads, so no congestion even though some very slow runners were up at the front line.
Managed to spot all the km markers, though some were easier to see than others (4K, 6K weren't easy).
Very helpful assistants post-race - baggage reclaim thrust my bag into my hands even before I'd arrived at the desk; the bloke handing out the goody bags picked up my medal for me which I'd dropped.
Medal with tacky Merseytravel logo and the original race date on it - about the only thing which I'd complain (mildly) about.
Looking forward to running this next year when fully fit!

In short: This was my first race. I ran it with a friend and we had a good time. We were aiming for an hour and did it with 8 mins to spare. Great Race. Well done
In full: Thanks to the Guys in the Tunnel shouting 'Oggy Oggy Oggy' Got us through it. It has defo made me want to run even further now!

In short: Something different
In full: I enjoyed this one a lot - going through the tunnel was special, loved all the pounding feet echoing around the tunnel like the sound of rainfall. Also I'm OK at climbing inclines so I gained a fair few places on the uphill bit of the tunnel, tee hee! The final stretch along the New Brighton prom was also special. Well organised, maybe get a load more portaloos at the start next year - and who the hell was that flippin eejit on the tannoy at the start and finish?

In short: Bit warm, was there not a T-shirt at one stage? Not the fastest but a good run, fun even.

In short: The sun made it an enjoyable run.
In full: An interesting race, now I know the course (which was a bit vague in the instructions) I would definitely give it another go to try and improve my time, and mayby get a t-shirt next time!

In short: Good morning out, shame about the date on the medals!
In full: A good race. Very quiet on the Liverpool side of the water, but the spectators came out more on the Wirral side. Distance markers seemed a bit sparce in the first 2/3rds and the medals bore the date of the postponed race, not the date of the actual race!

Also, why do these organisers think it's possible to run and drink out of a plastic cup? Can we please have bottles with sports caps next year??

On the whole a very enjoyable morning though, excellent transport arrangements with free public transport for competitors. Would definitely do it again, plus I got a PB from it !!

In short: Unusual route coupled with excellent organisation means I'll be back next year.
In full: I was worried that the steep climb out of the tunnel would result in a slower than usual time but this wa sobviously countered by the descent entering the tunnel as I got a PB! Finishing along the seafront was nice too. Finishers medal/coin was nice but had the riginal finish date on (May 28) goody bag was respectable.
