In short: Muddy and good
In full: Had a long day at work and decided to wear far too tight running tights, which never helped, but lovely air and scenery - the starter could have done with a mic. as I couldn't hear a word he said.

Wanted a medal though, a pen a mars and a bottle of water were ok, but I like a bit of shiny.

In full: I knew my trail shoes would be useful one day for a muddy trail race. A few big puddles, especially muddy near the parked lorries. Tried to remember to look around and appreciate the scenery but certainly nice to breathing the fresh forestry air!

In short: Muddy, but fun!
In full: Really enjoyed this, despite the mud. I thought the organisation was excellent and the choice of course (i.e. hills) was not too nasty, defintely could've been worse. Cheers Bracknell Forest guys!!

In short: Very enjoyable forest run
In full: Really relaxed event well organised by the local club. The Swinley Forest trails are familiar territory, and although the heavy rain made the course quite wet in places, it was still great fun. As a bonus I managed to improve on the time achieved when I last ran this race in 2007.

In short: Great course!..
In full: Different course this year due to the filming of Harry Potter's latest wizardry and mayhem in the woods of The Lookout, but cannot comment on the difference as this was my first outing here. The start was a bit of a hike from the very full carpark, so I used the opportunity to warm up the legs. The race itself was quite congested early on, but soon thinned out and found the course to be quite nice and undulating and not too twisty, so made for quite a fast and pleasant run with only one or two muddy sections, but had a friend's dog lick my legs clean. Nice!..
