In short: hot!
In full: Seemed much better organised than last year, particularly in the availability of water

In short: Good race from start to finish
In full: Very well organised at the start, on the course, and at the finsh. Plenty of drinks stations and plenty of marshalls. Well marked out. Very undulating but the climbs were just the right length and steepness to test you . As others have said the lolly at the end was a welcome sight better than a bottle of lukazade.Enjoyed the whole event and will be back again next year. WELL DONE EVERYBODY INVOLVED IN THE ORGANISATION OF THIS RACE.

In short: Undulating was an understatement!!
In full: It was a great morning! The weather was superb, the location was top notch, the marshals were brilliant! For me I thought it was quite challenging which is good for me. Maybe i should enter a hilly race to see the difference between the two because i thought this one was quite hilly! i will definitely be back next year!

In short: Enjoyable run over a reasonably challenging route-particularly enjoyed the lolly at the end, lots of water stops on the way round, but was strangely devoid of atmosphere until the crowds at the end

In short: Very hard going - but very good fun for it
In full: The route is challenging, the majority of it was uphill, or at least it seemed that way to me and my legs. However, the inclines were not particularly steep, but they were long and varied. Thankfully the scenery and general supportiveness of other runners keep you going. Highly recommended, but do make sure you train first!

In short: Much better than expected
In full: Having read some mixed reviews from previous years I was not quite sure what to expect. Ended up being very surprised and will be back again next year. Good course with mainly closed/quiet roads, endless water stops and 'fantastic' marshalls. Many thanks to all the volunteers on the route. Ice lollies at the end a nice touch and the whole event had the feel of a family day out with lots going on. Only gripe with parking and not turning cars around at the entrance to the park rather than letting them queue for 10-15 minutes to only find there were no spaces. Ended up parking in town which cost me £8. Yikes!

In short: Hot, hard work but worth it - and don't forget sunscreen
In full: trained harder for this than for previous two half marathons but it took 10 minutes longer - well worth putting in some hill training to enjoy it properly. The ice lolly at the end was the best I've ever tasted & I would have guarded it with my life. Very well organised and friendly with good parking. Quite a quiet race - not much chatting along the way because of the hills! I found this race quite a challenge and would have been put off if it had been my first. I would enter again if I'd put in enough training.
