In short: Lovely weather, nice race
In full: Well organised and friendly! ideal course for running as fast as you can. I ran faster than that and paid for it at the end. Just clung on for a PB. My third half marathon and a PB evey time but I could be struggling next time!

It could be improved by warning all the cyclists to avoid the narrow section along the river near Crook of Lune.

In short: Perfect running weather made this an enjoyable day out. Had to queue for number as already mentioned on here and would have been better if numbers could be posted out. Overall a nice run to suite all capabilities.

In short: Excellent race - scenic course and interesting route
In full: Very enjoyable race. I'm not someone who is too bothered about scenery but this race is very scenic especially on a sunny day. Nice to run on a few paths as well as the roads. A good mix of road and paths make for an interesting course.

Collection of numbers was chaotic. Many people had entered online to avoid this yet it looked like you did not need to que up as much if you were entering on the day.

In short: scenic flat half marathon, c700 runners and lots of support on route and at end
In full: Bit chaotic at start collecting online numbers, could have been speeded up if each letter of the alphabet was also sorted alphabetically rather than having to thumb through the whole pile every time! Apart from that, great weather and very well supported - nice finish on running track with lots of people cheering!
