In short: Really great, low-key event.
In full: Lovely countryside, cheerful marshals, nicely undulating/challenging course. I started at the back, so didn't hear any announcements (megaphone next year?), and it was a bit slow through the first 100m or so, but that's my own choice/fault. I'll be back next year.

In short: Challenging yet fun
In full: First time Ashtead 10k for me and even though i used it as a training run it was great to do part of my training offroad. Course was tricky with a variety of underfoot conditions but that made it all the more fun. A very scenic route with friendly competitors too. I will definitely run this one again. Very well organised, good support and marshall were super friendly and encouraging. Coasters made a nice change, although I do like a medal, t-shirt was fab with all entrants names on the back and a good addition to my running gear, and loads of goodies at the finish line. Makes it all worth doing, roll on next year :-)

In short: Interesting for a first time trail run.
In full: First trail course for me so tough going as not used to the terrain (or 10k runs!). Great run though and as local to me, I felt it was important to run it. Good organisation and lovely marshalls all around. Welcome jaffa cakes, amongst other items at the end and a lovely coaster - better than a medal - used every day at work, plus running shirt. Probably would try it a second time.

In short: Great race with friendly atmosphere and quality finishing goodies
In full: Brilliant organisation as always from Dr Rob, the National Anthem at the start always gets everyone smiling and an atmosphere going. Being a runner Dr Rob knows how to put on a good race and the technical t-shirt at the end along with a mystery gift, this year a quality coaster, is excellent value and much more useful in the future. Great marshalling especially the lady cheering everyone on at the turnaround point. Trionium races are the best!
