In short: Good fun, not sure of exact distance, and single-file slowed me a little
In full: Really couldn't tell if the course was different from last year, felt much the same. Tricky finish point too - up the hill. Too much single-file running to get a PB, and agree with other comments that last km seemed nearer a mile. Will do it again next year.

In short: Enjoyable race with great local support
In full: Developing into quite a fixture already and very well supported by local runners and crowd (especially between kms 6-7). Well marshalled and overall good organisation and very friendly and upbeat atmosphere.

Thought the pens improved the start. Found it less congested but started further forward than last time. The lumpiest terrain was at the start / finish though which made getting into stride harder. (But then its a multi terrain event.)

For next year might suggest a manned bag drop? And slightly quicker start to race? (Maybe do the warm up routine pre 10am)

In short: Congested start, but well organised and scenic
In full: A lot of runners had high hopes of a sub 40 minute time (too many people standing in the wrong place in the start pens) - which meant slow and heavy traffic for the first 2k. Cotton race T was soaked through very quickly - any chance of something more technical? Other than that, it was a well organised and scenic run with a great turnout and great support around the route.

In short: Great race. Bit crowed, so difficult to get up to race pace. Maybe next year, run the course in reverse so we get to go down the hills rather than up them.

In short: Overall quite good but can be better
In full: Seems very popular, a nice off road route . Somewhat congested at the beginning which is annoyinhg but not too bad. Final hill is a mean addition and I would doubt the last KM marker being correct.

In short: Well organised although warm up could have been before 10 a.m. not after it. Not good for the bladder! Lots of support on course which was nice. Was the last kilometre correctly measured?
