In short: Great Course, awful organisation
In full: Wonderfull course, good level of abilities and able to cope with large number of competitiors. Course let down by awful organisation no problems this year at the finish but why were the chips & numbers not posted out? Was always going to be chaos at best and so it proved at the start. The organisers then blamed the number of people arriving late for the delayed start - I think they should perhaps look in the mirror for the problems. The most expensive 10K locally and they can't afford a stamp and envelope. Come on National Trust sort the organisation and you will have an excellent event. Would have been nice if T-shirts were different from last year- how about a date on? Desipte organisation course makes this a good event and worth considering for next year

In short: Disappointing
In full: After last years mix up at the start, this year it was at the beginning. Very frustating queues and I was well early.
Surprised there was a 15 min delay, was expecting it to be longer. Shame about excatly same T shirt as last year- did they have a job lot? Very little atmosphere, an anticlimax at the end and felt let down, even though did a very good time and possibly a PB. Leeds Abbey Dash runs like clockwork, with a massive field- whats up Clumber?

In short: Great course, less great organisation
In full: Got to the reg tent just before 09:20, lots of confused (in some cases cross!) people about which queue lanes to join and what the process was.

Queued twice (as did others) for around an hour to be told "entry closed"! - so a bunch of us just ran without numbers or chips which was disappointing after a long drive to get there.

Thoughts for organisers next yr:
1. If you have queue lanes, big signs over each please or a roaming official to make sure everyone knows where they are going
2. Post numbers out in advance (if this doesn't fit in the budget, option to download PDFs to print your own? or some slicker process)
3. Don't rely on one poor bloke with a laptop to type in everyone's details - it's a big bottleneck, particularly when pre-reg people have to wait in the same queue as on-the-day folk.

For runners:
1. Make sure you pre-register and turn up early on the day.

Anyway, smashing course still, nice downhill final km, marshals around the course did a great job, and I got a PB - shame it won't be on the Web site!

In short: Huge improvements on last year!
In full: Great fun race, lots of club runners and fun runners too. A little crowded for the first 2km as some of the paths were very narrow and it didn't help that slower runners had ignored the starting pens and ended up near the front! Big Q to collect numbers and chip.... would it be too much to pop them in the post? T-shirt very ordinary and 5km water station handed out cups of water instead of bottles which seemed a bit tight considering I paid £18 late entry!!!! I'd do it again though!

In short: Good race, weather good to us, poor finish and plenty of queueing
In full: great 10k run, although the start was slightly delayed i didnt hear a starting pistol or anything all of a sudden we were going. #nice run throught the park and was able to achieve a pb but the finish wasnt the most organised, i didnt appreciated having to queue before the finish line nor having to queue until our number could be written down, thn having to queue again for our t shirts then queue again to exit the park, i know were English and we do queue alot but it doesnt mean we enjoy it! Also, what was the point of listing our estimated finishing positions if theyre not going to be listed, I cant find the finishing results anywhere on the internet. If they charged more for the entry fee then the organisers could perhaps invest in the chip system, the system being used may have been acceptable in the 80's but not this day and age. I would also have liked a medal maybe insead of t shrt. i am now getting a little collection and would like to have increased it by another one. apart from that well done to the organisers and the helpers.
