In short: A brutal, well organised, gem of a race!
In full: A great, low key, well organised, scenic race. What better way than to smash your body up over 13 miles of Surrey countryside, and then retire for a well earned lunch in one of the cracking nearby pubs? It was hot and hilly, and I was questioning what exactly I was doing there over the last 4 miles, however, loved every gruelling step. For the first time in my racing 'career' I was also awarded a spot prize. Brilliant!

In short: Superb organisation and marshalls, plenty of drinks stations, was just the agressive stones I didn't like esp the one that floored me at 8m.... good hard hilly race, I will be back.

In short: Very tough, well-organised race. Unmissable!
In full: I've done this race a few times. Always well-organised. Always harder than I remember. Great view from the trig point but I never have time to look. The start/finish location at the gothic (?) school is a fantastic spectacle on a sunny day.

In short: Very Challenging 1/2 Marathon!
In full: This course is great but definitely not for the beginners...I found the number of hills very challenging...and was extremely proud that I never walked...

PS: the staff were lovely

if you are not a vet...i recommend that you begin with a slightly slower pace than your average...if you have more energy towards the end then you can crank it up then...

but note...the toughest hill begins at mile 11...so proceed with caution...

if you are an elite runner...this is a great course to help improve your speed in the long run...
