In short: A nicely challenging 12km semi hilly run, a good warm up run for the longer ones ahead.
In full: First time doing this run, a good mix of club runners kitted up to the nines and casual runners earning their Sunday dinner.
Good support from the marshals who were very safety conscious as it is run entirely on public roads, there was also an impressive police presence to deal with motorists which was reassuring.
All in all a really nice 12km run, good organisation and tons of parking which is a bonus, well worth sticking in your calendar to work up to those summer half marathons.
A few hills add to the struggle as well.

In short: GREAT FIRST RACE OF THE YEAR
In full: This was another really well organised race by Stratford AC, ok a good turn out of club runners but all were made welcome, a massive PB for me helped too but that wouldn't have spoilt what was a great first race of the year for many runners, great marshalls, a toilet trailer for the men at the start was a handy touch plus a T shirt this year too, what more could you ask for , roll on 2012.

In full: This was a really well-organised and friendly race. The best we have been to for a long time. Thank you for making this such a fun and enjoyable event. It was obvious that a lot of hard work and thought had gone into the organisation and preparation. I cant praise this enough.

In short: Fab race worth signing up for every year.
In full: Really well organised - Starts with the efficient car park stewarding, followed by timely start and enthusiatic course marshalling, finishing with a friendly atmosphere.
Great way to start the running calendar year - I'll be back next year, again!

In short: Always a lovely atmosphere at this race and it's nice to run a different distance. I find myself looking forward to it every year.
