In short: Very enjoyable as there was a nice mix of people and abilities, as it was challenging for me

In short: Hilly scenic first half, flat dullish second half
In full: More hills than I expected and very cold wind. But I got a PB by some miracle! Friendly and well organised, lots of marshalls and a nice atmosphere. Huge selection of cakes at the end so this race gets my vote of approval.

In short: A hilly start with a flat finish
In full: A good race for all abilities. The first k out into the wiltshire countryside is down hill, (which I ran too quickly!), but the second is all uphill (a big hill) it then undulates untill the six k marker after which it is flat and a little dull as your running around a housing estate.
Excellent marshalling but it is a shame it doesnt take around the more scenic parts of Devizes.

In short: Well organised enjoyable race
In full: Nice course if a bit hilly to begin with, I managed a PB(maybe the training is working). Well organised by the club who had to cope with road works etc - thanks Devizes Running Club - see you next year.

In short: Best 10k race I've run
In full: Second outing for me and despite the hill, I got a new PB over the distance so I am officially a huge fan of Devizes. Great marshalling. Wish I'd had some money to try the cakes. Nice to get a free bottle of water and a banana at the end. Results up nice and quickly too...far quicker than lots of races where they have hi-tech equipment and less runners.

Would be nice to see a big clock at the finish...although maybe I was so engrossed in my own time, I didn't spot it??

The only thing that spoiled it was the idiot in the red Clio trying to run over everyone running up Monument Hill.

See you next year :o)

In short: Well organised, not exactly flat (first 2 miles uphill) and then you go down so far you have to come up again.
