In short: Fabulous mixed course, bit road of running, through the woods, back onto road and then along the canal.

In short: Fast Canal action!
In full: With the revised route and almost straight into the woods was a great way to start, the conditions were perfect cool and no rain or snow! didn't love the road section to Ash although it was only about a mile or 2 stretch then back to off road! The stairs at 7.5m did sap your energy when you were building for a strong finish! and who thought about putting a pro photographer there!!?? crazy! Good fun race in review!!

In short: You can't go wrong with a 2:09 event
In full: 2:09 do several events, and this one is typical. Smoothly organized, varied course through woods, along pavements and then along a towpath, a good no-nonsense no-frills race. I'll be back next year.

In short: Very friendly, well organised, lovely route by the canal and lakes
In full: Really lovely race. Nice route (apart from dull but necessary road bit in miles 2-3).

Very friendly marshals, very well organised.

Nice medal and great goodies for post race muchies :)

Will run again!

In short: Sunday morning wake up canal run
In full: Good off road sections with a couple of miles road sections. Running next to the canal you only need to watch out for dog walkers and the occasional low bridge. Fairly fast run good for everyone.

In short: Another cracker from Mike & his team.
In full: So far I`ve run three 2.09 events races & this is another cracker. Nice planned route. Even having wet feet just before the 1st mile marker didn`t damper this race. Mind you water & mud everywhere does normally mean you have just ran a 2.09 event :) Well done - can`t wait till the next one.

In short: Extremely well organised, and a good laugh
In full: Don't expect any tremendous times, but all the runners and marshalling staff seemed to be there to have fun. Which is what its all about.

In short: This was a good run for a first timer to the event. Very well organised and the, marshalls were greatp.
In full: This was a much wetter/muddier course than I've run before but once you gave into it, it was really good fun - was just v. grateful that the heavy rain held off. A bit frustrating in places having to go single file but overall I really enjoyed it.
