In short: Excellent organisation
In full: Very friendly marshalls and police did a great job. Plenty of water stations and nice goody bag. Could have done with more toilets.

In short: Perfect conditions, well organised, best time for a while = happy! :)
In full: Good support from marshalls, plenty of water, nice sunny day (with cool air though :)). Bracknell itself will never change, and the scenery will never be more than average, but fortunately the route tries to keep everyone away from most of the real dross! Overall, a good value and enjoyable half. I may be back :)

In short: More heat & hills than expected but a great day out
In full: I had no real expectation for this race as it was just at a convenient time for me and kind of local. So I was extrememly surprised and pleased by the organisation and venue which p roved excellent for my wife and 2 year old son. The arts center is very nice with cafeteria, playground and lovely grounds. As to the race, I haven't run any others which is so urban so for me it made a real change. The ascents were harder than I was led to expect so after mile 8 I struggled, or was that the heat as well? Anyway, finished in my second best time and had a good time all around. Support was sporadic but in places really good and the kids helping at the water stations were loving it. A big thanks to the two families who supplied bottles of water and jelly sweets at the later stages. Bracknell should be proud of this race. As for the dullness of the course, I come from Basingstoke........enough said. As for the toilets, yes, that could have been better so organisers, take note for next year, as I'll be back.

In short: An incredibly well organised race from start to finish
In full: Great value at £9 or £11 (can't remember exactly!) with drink, medal, t-shirt and goody bag at the finish.

The organisation was excellent with great PA system at the start and friendly, numerous marshalls all around the track.

Great PB potential I think in this race, unless your knee gives way at 8.5 miles and you virtually have to hobble the rest of the way round...!!!

In short: Great race, very well organised and marshalled - thanks to all who helped
In full: Nice race, despite a few dull bits on the course, but very well organised and marshalled - really surprised to see a comment about lack of help or encouragement from the marshalls, which was definitely not my experience !!

In short: Best organised half marathon I have ever entered!
In full: That pretty much sums up my morning. The organistation / marshall was fantastic! Only gripe being the before mentioned toilet facilities, however I did find that the toilets in the nearby community centre empty and no queues at all.

I question one of the previous comments below about the unfriendliness of the marshalls. On the contrary, I was well impressed and would like to say a big THANKYOU to everyone who helped out. That is now my 7th half marathon in 7 months and was definitely by favourite. Not my quickest time, but my favourite run.

Did anyone else notice the sour tasting water at the 5 mile water station? (only a minor niggle, nothing can really take away the enjoyment I had this morning.

Thanks Bracknell and Quintiles. See you next year (depending on whether I get accepted into the FLM or not).

In short: A well organised race, great weather and well marshalled.
In full: My second year of doing this race, and it is one of the better organised races, mainly I think beacuse the field isn't overly big. Well done to the organisers for not selling out to a big field that the course can't handle. The scenery isn't that great, but the marshalls and support along the way makes up for this. Only negative point was not enough toilets, why is this something that is poor at the vast majority of races?

Overall, enjoyed it, got a reasonable time and picked up a bit of tan!

In short: nice start and finish area for picnic, enthusiastic kids on the water/sponges and personally I liked the pedestrian walkway nature of most of the course. Well done to all who helped organise it. Cheers Chris.
In full: My wife thought that there weren't enough portaloos, and that they were in a disgusting state when she took the children to them.

Quantity - down to the organisers

Condition - down to us runners!
