In short: Well Done Bracknell
In full: This was my third Bracknell and depressingly my first race in over 70 starts that I failed to finish due to a muscle tear at Mile 10.

Full credit to Bracknell though, the facilities were excellent this year, bag drop was easy, car park easy, started on time and toilets were plentiful. Enthusiastic and encouraging marshalls all the way round and my own kids loved handing out the water near mile 5.

Unfortunately, I had to drop out at 9.5 even though I was on for a PB for this course but wanted to thank the marshalls, who made sure I was looked after and dropped back at South Hill park.

Well done Bracknell you genuinely deserve credit this year, keep the standards high!

In short: Very well organised, good course, not too hilly, nice medal.
In full: This was my 2nd Bracknell Half and whilst not as quick as last year (got a big soggy and bogged down at the end!) it has produced my fastest and 3rd fastest times at this distance. Excellent organisation again this year. The thunderstorm was a little unexpected but did provide a cooling effect! Another very nice medal. I will be back for the 25th running next year. Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation.

In short: Well organised and friendly race.
In full: Nice to see the organisers have taken note of the comments on last years race; There were amply toilets at the start for once. The atmosphere is great - especially for the first half of the race, which is a mostly a winding path through residential areas with good support. From 6-9 miles the hill is tiring, but the rain came to cool everyone. There seems to be a lot of non-club runner which adds to the beginner friendlyness. Major bonus is the car park 1 min from the start line. Great race. I'll be back next year, remembering to sign up early as it has filled up quicker and quicker each year.

In short: Really top race, only a couple of medium hills, nice course
In full: Really enjoyed race today. Nice number about 900 I think, very well organised, no stress, parking near start and finish which are close together. Medium hills between mile 6 to 8, then fairly lat. Nice 3 mile finish through woods and good support at finish. Volunteers really brilliant and good support all the way round, better than Reading!!
A top job to all those involved in organising will see you in 2009. Nice medals BTW.

In short: Great first time half marathon for me.
In full: Spectators and marshals were great. Plenty of water stops, even if the cups make you choke to death! Special thanks to the runner that kept me going through those nasty hills..yummy scrummi or words to those effect, i think your pants said!

In short: Great crowd support for this comparatively small race - even in the thunder, lightening and v heavy rain! Well orgnanised. I can't say I noticed the scenary particularly. Nice start/end venue - on a sunny day!
