In short: one of the best halfs around
In full: don't be put off by the hills (of which there are many). this half was fantastically organised and thoroughly enjoyable - the views are amazing which make up for all the steep sections. i managed to run my best time in nearly two years...somehow... :)

In short: My legs still hurt!
In full: When you live in Mid Cheshire and a hill is a motorway bridge then this is a real eye-opener! Way outside my pb but still had a great time although i'm feeling it now. Will be back again next year!

In short: Seriously hilly, stunning scenery, great race
In full: There are some tough, challenging climbs on the course - as you'd expect - but they're more than managable if you've got the training in your legs, and the views are reward for your effort! I was glad of a drive round the course the previous evening, though, to know when the hills were coming. Great organisation too. A thoroughly enjoyable race, highly recommended.

In short: A scenic course that has plenty of leg burning climbs, including a rather cruel sting in the tail, but still a superb race.

In short: Hard, because of the 1,220 feet climb, but worth it.
In full: To describe this one as 'undulating' is an understatement! You need to do some serious hill-running practice first.
