In short: If I say I would do it again - I MEAN it!!!
In full: Smooth organistion before and on the day, easy parking, great scenery, friendly and helpful marshalls, marsbar and isotonic drink in the goody bag, pretty medal, a new PB, a free hot drink afterwards.
Who cares under those conditions if it is windy, wet and cold. I do not mind skipping over puddles if everything else is making up for it. It is not the organisers fault if people queue in the starting area to finish within 45 minutes, and then have to walk when they hit the first hill. Grrrrr!!
I will come back next year anyway.
:-))

In short: Atrocious weather, nasty course, very good organisation
In full: Somewhat mystified as to why I've home home with 11km recorded on my watch and all my splits telling me I ran a PB! Still, the big clock says I didn't so I'm not sure I'll ever be able to explain that one.

That aside, a terrible day for a race sadly. Very wet and windy on what was quite an exposed course.

Route itself is tough, lots of climbing and given the conditions, stretches of boggy, muddy stuff really didn't make life any easier. Could we have stuck to the road more? There were plenty of empty ones around.

Organisation however was very good. Efficient and friendly. Thank you to all concerned for putting on a very smooth operation.

Also, gets my vote for most random "goody" bag item - 2 sachets of porridge. Nice. I wish these events would reconsider the contents of these bags! It can be done. Standalone 10K, Letchworth - no bag, just a banana, an energy drink and a good quality technical t-shirt. Job done. Worth a thought.

In short: Lovely run in the countryside
In full: Well-organized, enjoyable race. Loads of friendly, encouraging marshalls. Someone please tell me if that poor lady on the exposed hilltop just before the 6K marker has been brought down and thawed out! Nice goody bag and medal, and nice short queues for chips and loos!

In short: A tough course and well-organized race
In full: This one has plenty of gradients and a course that in foul weather like today is quite exposed. A bit of a challenge. As always, well-organized with a decent medal. A friendly village-green race which I've done loads of times in the past will continue to do in the future.

In short: Great effort from a fairly small village
In full: Well organised, well supported and friendly atmosphere. A few bottlenecks on the way round and goody bag was lacking the bag element but otherwise superb. There was definitely a nice medal in response to Glyn.

In short: Great race, well organised in lovely countryside
In full: This is an excellent race, good mix of runners and a superb atmosphere. Very well supported and well organised. Can't agree with the review below - medals were given out at the end of the finishing funnel.
