In short: Absolutely gorgeous, even in the pouring rain!
In full: Lovely, lovely race. The scenery is so beautiful that it is no chore to go round twice. The route has plenty of interesting features. The hill at 4K/9K is a bit of a beast. The marshalls are all friendly and encouraging, and ready to exchange banter with the runners. You get a medal, a teeshirt, a drink and a Mars, which is nice. I loved the medal this year, with a tree on it. A big thank you to all the marshalls for being so cheerful in the pouring rain.

In short: Very enjoyable
In full: I found it difficult to find the start - probably my own poor navigational abilities! Once found, lovely atmosphere, really enjoyable run and challenging in places.

In short: Well-organized race in a picturesque setting
In full: This is a lovely race, through stunningly beautiful woodlands. I don't usually like laps, but the course was so varied that it didn't feel like laps, and it was all so beautiful it didn't matter. Very well-organized, lots of friendly marshalls and a nice mix of runners. I shall definitely put this one in my diary for next year.

In full: I don't do cross country and entered this by mistake but would do it again. Beautiful course, quite undulating with mud and tree roots etc. We had perfect weather cool with a bit of sun.
