In short: Very well organised event, great course and a good turnout.
In full: The organisation for this event was excellent. The website was great and very useful to be able to collect your number and chip the day before as this saved a lot of pre-race hassle.

The course was good with prominent mile markers, plenty of water stations and very well marshalled. A big thank-you to all the marshalls who had to endure some pretty awful weather, particularly on the more exposed parts of the course.

Nice medal and t-shirt and the edible contents of the goodie bag at the end were most appreciated!

It is a shame that the weather and the accident on the A47 which led to the delayed start (both of which were outside of the organisers control) have led to some adverse comments. Overall I don't think that there is anything to fault this race and I would certainly do it again.

In short: Bad weather made the british spirit shine. wonderful.
In full: the bad storm hit at such a bad moment for me but the marhalls were so uplifting and jolly, and bless them they just had to stand in it. A big plus and thankyou to them. also a friendly atmosphere all round.

In short: Parking a problem - Lots of Wind and Rain but Volunteers were great
In full: It took half an hour to get into the car park so we nearly missed the start and were quite stressed! An earlier start could avoid queueing with the Xmas shoppers!
Lack of facilities a bit of a problem in the atrocious weather and the extra loop at the end was a bit of a bummer. Enjoyed it in hindsight and thanks to all the marshalls and organisers who were all nice, friendly and helpful.
Could we have it in Norwich next year despite the hilly-ness it would be more fun!

In short: Awful conditions, excellent marshalling.
In full: A well organised event, just a shame we didn’t start on time. Competitors who were late should have allowed themselves more time to get there especially with such a large field of runners, which was well publicised. Excellent, encouraging marshalling really helped, especially on the second lap, which I found a particular struggle. Plenty of water stations and clearly marked mile markers. A decent goody bag and medal. I’ll have to come back next year, just to beat my disappointing time.

In short: Rename it the Countryside of Norwich Half Marathon ;)
In full: The organizers really should get done by the trade description as it is no where near the city of Norwich, but forgiving them that the Norfolk country side was amazing.

The race was delayed by 10 minutes which was a pain in the arse given the weather. the organizers had said to be there by half 9 and for those of us who did what we were told we were made to stand in gales and rain. Not happy about that.

The course was very well marshaled and they were all happy to be there - Thank you very much.

Pretty nice medal and a goody bag made it worthy of the 4 hour drive to the event.

In short: Good organisation, shame about the dire weather but a good atmosphere
In full: Driving head winds and torrential rain will be my lasting memory of this race... but a nice varied route with lots of downhills and one decent uphill to keep you interested - I'd do thia again. Points for the organisers for next time - PLEASE don't make us run around the block to get to the finish, that's just cruel! More wet weather planning would be sensible for a December race - straw for the car parks and grass areas of start/finish areas, and the race numbers should be plastic as I doubt most people will be able to find their photos after the numbers fell off in the rain. And no water station at the finish? Seemed very odd... But overall well run and good atmosphere, given conditions.
