In short: Great New Year wake up!
In full: Fantastic scenery, very friendly and a very quick course.
A few hills but nothing too bad.
Will be back; also there was talk of Summer evening races...great.
Thanks to the cheerful marshalls, it was a bit nippy to be standing around!

In short: Great run, great weather, great day!
In full: First trail race and I had a ball. Was reasonably challenging in places for the trail novice, but somehow managed to log a 10K pb over any surface!! Think it was due to how much fun I was having. See you next time!

In short: A pleasure to run in
In full: Really enjoyed the course, good atmosphere, nice route but personally i'd have loved even more off road! Great for the range of abilities though and the slight hills made it more interesting. Will definitely do it again.

In short: Great organisation and lovely venue
In full: Never done trail running before but hubby entered me! Great organisation, with clearly marked route, even for those like me straggling at the back! I finished in under an hour (just) but it was quite lonely at the back. To a beginner trail runner the hills were a challenge, but do-able. Hubby may even persuade me to do it again next year!

In short: Location, Location, Location!!! brillinat course done well for 1st time. Can only get biggere and better.
In full: The course was well planned, marked and marshalled. The course, scenery and weather made the race. Just need to look at signage and directions to the race (met others from outside who were lost (sat nav on post code takes you to about 1.5 mile away). Increase prize list (Vets and team but will come with bigger field). More details of when and where prize giving, registration is etc. ie. signage!! Luckily weather was fine as the prize giving was been in the open at a spot chosen at random consequently few waited around. But this is only feedback for the future take nothing away this has fantastic potential and was a great great race in my opinion.

In full: Smooth organisation. Well done for a debut event. More singletrack, twisty bits and mud next time please! Good foresight booking the weather.
