In short: Well organised, enjoyable race
In full: Parking at Chessington World of Adventures is a real plus as it makes the logistics of getting there/back much easier. Race start was a little tight, mainly due to people starting too far forward relative to their expected finishing time. Once out on the roads though this is a nice, relatively flat race.

In short: Well worth setting the alarm for
In full: This was my first 10k - I was worried about being too slow but need not have worried. The marshalls were really encouraging and the organisation good (except I didn't get my chocolate biscuit at the end)! I'll be back next year, but will be ready for the hill at 7-8k which was a little on the tough side at that stage of the race.

In short: Bit hilly and boring route. Bit annoying being on roads. I did get a PB though so cannot be that bad!

In short: Worth getting up for!
In full: This was my third running of this race and it is always enjoyable. The middle section is very flat and fast and quite peaceful/traffic free. It does get busier in the last few kms with uneven pavements and driveways but by that stage the finish is close so no worries. The marshalls were very efficient and encouraging so a big thank you to them. Also thanks to the kind lady who stopped me driving off with my gloves and newly acquired tee shirt on the roof of my car!

In short: Well organised with friendly, supporting marshalls. Very enjoyable!
In full: Great race - would highly recommend to anyone. The marshalls were so encouraging and friendly even when I passed (quite far down the pack). Very impressed and would definitely do it again!
