In short: A must do pre-London warm-up - and for once we had nice weather.

In short: Very good. One small criticism would be the lack of sufficient toilets at the start.

In short: Challenging course with the wind & hills. Marshalls were superb & encouraging which makes a change!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed doing the race after deciding NEVER to do the event when it snowed in 2005! However with no Bramley I thought I would give it another go.

Despite running into the wind for the early miles and then the little hills at 9 and 18 miles it was a really good race.

Only disappointment was a family member of Garden City Runner who was chasing him around the course trying to get photos - which is not good on a tight course where its not easy for cars and runners to be on the same road!

In short: Crowded start, glorious scenery, well organised with friendly marshals
In full: What hills? Two inclines and a few undulations. In mild weather this was a joy to run but in heavy rain it would be a nightmare with no protection. Well organised but too few toilets at the start and none on the course. No sponge stations either.

In short: Not the race for a PB but one you must consider if you are in the FLM
In full: A challenging run but worth the experience for anybody who considers themselves a serious runner. They mention the hills at 9 and 18 miles, but the smaller ones in between sap your energy just as much. This is a must event for anybody successful for the London Marathon.

In short: One of the toughest 20 mile road races out there, but despite the hills and the undulations, very satisfying to finish.
In full: Just missed my target time, but enjoyed this event for the fourth consecutive year. Forgotten how tough that hill was at 9 miles, but was prepared for the one at 18 miles!

Organisation and marshaling was of the usual high standard, and I will return again next year.
