In short: I've wanted to do this race for a while now and it didn't disappoint!
In full: I approached this race with some trepidation as I was carrying a couple of niggles. Decided to give it a go and so pleased I did as I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. Much of the uphill didn't seem too bad and, on the positive side, it forced me not to set off too quickly. I want to come back next year fully fit and try for a better time.

A huge thank you to the marshalls and everyone working hard behind the scenes who make the event the classic it is.

In short: Another fantastic Leith Hill half!
In full: Just finished another fantastic Trionium half, so tough but a fantastic course (are those steps at the end getting steeper?)
Marshals great and friendly, the memento and fried breakfast at the end always a bonus - slightly muddier this year and did see two people go in head first to a puddle! Would always recommend!

In short: Brutal, challenging,tough race!
In full: This is not for the faint hearted. What a tough race, up, up and up and even coming down we had to go up at times. Lovely friendly atmosphere but definitely not a walk in the park. Really nice t-shirt and medal.

In short: Tough course but very enjoyable race, great marshalling and organisation. Excellent event T-shirt and glass paperweight, aswell as a great cooked breakfast. Rob & his team put on a super event, & the wife carrying race at the start is good fun!

In short: Doctor Rob does it again!
In full: Fantastic race! Started with watching the wife-carrying championships, and then a short briefing before the off. There was time for singing the national anthem before we started on the trek up to Leith Hill summit. Spectacular scenery throughout: picturesque villages, varied woodland and open spaces. The slog up to Leith Hill varies in gradient, but the the first half is all uphill. Strangely enough, the way back down isn't ALL downhill, and a killer hill in the last mile can sap the legs. It's not a PB course, but it's a fine race. The finish has medals, tee shirts, a memento, not to mention Haribo and jelly babies for the competitors.
