In short: Great race with some challenging hills
In full: Good marshalls although 1 didn't know the route when my husband was asking if there was anywhere he could go to see me on the course. Great course my first trail race and def harder than a road race but very enjoyable.

In short: well organised, excellent facilities, really nice run through the woods.
In full: One of the best organised events I've been to with a real family atmosphere. Nice wide paths through the woods with enough hills to make it interesting.

In short: Very scenic, very undulating, hindered by optomistic runners/joggers in the wrong pens and slightly unnerved by having to pass a runner with a dog!

In short: slow start due to optimistic runners clogging up the front. Otherwise great
In full: If you enjoyed this one then try the Grimsthorpe Castle 10k on Aug 31st. Similar off road experience, traffic free, well organised and great value.

In short: Great fun, quite challenging, the hill on 9K extremely unfair though!

In short: exalent instent response when i contected them
In full: We loved the atmosphere and the scenery a bit shocked at the amount of hill that there were, we were told that it was flat with one or 2 small hills, but we loved it and will be back god willing next yr, looking forward to it.

In short: Lovely scenery, not bad for beginners
In full: This was my first proper 5K race, and I didn't feel too daunted. I was near the back, but went at my own pace. There's some slight hills that are tricky for the beginner, but overall I enjoyed this.
