In short: A well organised race is awful conditions - very cold, windy & muddy. But the organisation was very good, and a great memento. Special thanks to the marshall playing Eye Of The Tiger at full volume! Date of review: February 28, 2010

In short: A credit to the organisers and marshalls. In full: The weather was terrible with driving rain and strong winds. As usual GYDAC the organisers, the marshalls and all involved were excellent. Thanks for putting on the rescheduled event despite the challenging conditions. The course is undulating but fair. See you next year, top race. Date of review: February 28, 2010

In short: Thank you to all of the marshalls and organisers for getting the race on ! In full: In view of the atrocious conditions, a very big thank you to all of the organisers and marshalls for getting the race on today, and for ensuring that the race ran so smoothly. Too often people are quick to complain, so I think it is only fair that the volunteers are given some credut for all of their hard work behind the scenes. The course is undulating, and quite challenging, but on a better day would be a good, fast event. Date of review: February 28, 2010

In full: I have no affiliation to the organising club (in fact I run for a rival club) but for those of you who are complaining about the cancellation, it was posted on the club website by 3pm on the previous day! Norfolk had a cold snap on the Friday evening and this time of year, what with the weather conditions, it would always be advisable/sensible call the organisers to double-check. I called early on the Saturday morning. The weather forecast on the BBC news on the Friday night also indicated that Norfolk would receive another dump of snow/ice. The organisers also emailed me (and I assume the two complainants) the previous day (Saturday) to notify of cancellation so I think it's unreasonable to ask a club to do a ring-around to all the competitors so I think the complains are a bit unfair. In short: Cancelled at the 11th hour In full: Due to weather conditions this event was cancelled. No effort was made to inform entrants from further afield, where conditions were fine, about the cancellation. Therefore, 3 of us travvelled 160mile round trip with our families on a pointless Sunday morning. Date of review: January 31, 2010

In short: Biting winds but loved it all the same In full: Even though I trotted along the road to warm up, for the first mile my legs and feet were on automatic pilot, it was so chilly. The course was great, the marshalls fab and I was pleased with myself, the first long run since last October's Lewes Downland in howling gales and side swiping rain. Anyway, who says Norfolk is flat!
