In short: Two hills, one very tough, but worth it for the views! Jaffa cakes were very welcome at the drinks stations!
In full: What a race! This was the first 21 mile race I've completed. The organisation was first rate, and we were followed by a marshall on a bike. The weather was kind and it was a fast race. The rolling start worked well for us, although having to stick to paths was a little frustrating at times. Some of the mile markers were out so it didn't feel like 21 miles at all. For a run on my doorstep I couldn't ask for more! Will be back!

In short: Loved it - challenging but friendly. Some minor orgaisation issues.
In full: The marshalls were great but there needed to be more of them and the mile markers on the 21 were a bit off at the end ... but all easily forgiveable for what was a challenging but enjoyale race.

Lovely competitors, lovely organisers, lovely hills .... and Jaffa cakes!

In short: nice warm up especially the first hill!
In full: (21 mile) A nice marathon training long run, first hill was nasty but after that was ok if a little dull when back on the A20. A few more signs or marshalls on junctions would be nice when up on the downs. Last 'mile' was way off though

In short: Was a good day for a run
In full: The first hill was a killer, then some pleasant lanes to get into your stride... great water stops, thanks to the Marshalls and not sure if i was pleased or disapointed that it was 20.5miles. Great training for VLM.. and left on a high.
