In short: Good organised race, well worth doing!
In full: Great race and a nice challenging hill between 3 and 4 mile! The only thing I didn't like was the start as you climbed the bank onto the road as people stopped to walk up it!

In short: Fantasitc first time half. Very freindly, great motivating warm up, would recommend, The one hill was steep, but I walked it and so did many others.

In short: This was my first half marathon and aimed for an under 2 hour time which i achieved 1:59 :-) this was a well run event, organisation was to the highest standards, there were no interuptions and the race began on time.... fairly flat route felt could
In full: of been more challenging, however the hill which is approx 2 -3 miles in was a sheer incline which i thoroughly enjoyed what you have to remember is what goes up must come down. There were plenty of toilet facilities at the start and the atmosphere was great if you’re a beginner this is perfect for you, the marshals were fantastic along with the people of Eastbourne both showing support throughout , I am defiantly doing this next year and am proud to say I have caught the running bug thanks to this AMAZING HALF MARAHTON. Thankyou Eastbourne

In short: Everyone mentions 'the hill' but yes, between miles 2 and 3 there is a cliff so it's a hard start (especially if you kick off too quickly, which I did). The last 4 miles are a bit boring but not too bad. My second time and would do again.

In short: Got a PB (albeit only my second HM) of 1:28. The hill on mile 2 was greater than i had expected but was able to fly down on other side. Availed of free massage and swim afterwards, with pub lunch with mates on way back to London - we all enjoyed it!

In short: Decent half marathon
In full: Enjoyable, well organised race with good enthusiastic marshalls.

Tough course especially the steep hill early on although at least you get pay-off immediately on way down. Section around the harbour is tight with lots of narrow turns. Also I missed some of the mile markers early on which could be made a bit more obvious.

Shame weather was not great in the morning although there was still good support in places.
