In short: 2011 once again saw a superbly organised Half, 5 mile and Fun Run !
In full: "Interesting" mainly countryside course, with some challenging climbs. Superb setting, with plentiful onsite parking, changing rooms, and showers. Excellent organisation with baggage trucks close to start, and not suffering from the usual lack of toilets at some events. Medals, T-shirts, Kit Kats, Bananas and Drinks at the end handed out in an orderly fashin made for an enjoyable day.....Shame about the wind in 2011, but we will be back !

In short: Some very tough (and long) hills but an excellent event that is well worth doing. Fancy dress competition adds to the atmosphere

In short: Very well organised, well done.
In full: I had been asked to be a pacer for the 1.57. This was nerve racking as having to run at a constant pace. We managed to cross the line in 1.57.09. The support from the other runners, spectators and marshalls was fantastic. Very well organised. Great views.

In short: Tough course, but well worth the effort !
In full: One of the best organised events I have run at yet. Lots of parking close to the event, loads of toilets by the start pens, bag drop as you walk to the line, excellent goody bags, medals & T-shirts, and a great atmosphere. This really is a small event, that feels so much bigger due to the superb organisation.

Route is definitely challenging, but for the most part the climbs are gradual, with a couple of short sharp parts.

Hard to beat from a scenic point of view !

In short: Forget the hills and enjoy the views
In full: They call it the little race with the big reputation and given that Bath and Bristol are c40mins drive away their Half Marathons are a much bigger draw (although at the other end of the calendar), but this is better organised, friendlier, has a much more pleasant route (although hilly) and is more of a challenge too.
