In short: Pleasant run through country lanes and around the lake
In full: Good local race with nice route through country lanes and around Barston Lake. Not completely traffic free but roads quiet enough and well marshalled. A few water stops which was needed with the heat today. Medal and chocolate at the finish with the option of some hot food if wanted. Nice area to wait around in for family friends with licensed bar. One minute out from my time last year

In short: An enjoyable race on the whole
In full: My first time at this one. I thought it was well organised and went well to be honest. Nice course to run. The marshalls were great..thanks to them. Not too challenging apart from the fact it was a hot one and a cheeky climb towards the end.I'll be back next year me thinks.

In full: Areally nice run that is a bit challenging. Well orginised and very friendly. Only slight complaint this year is for the 'head misstress/maitron' like woman telling people that its a race and people should not walk...Very nice considering temperatures were in the 70s!!! I also have to mention the runner who persisted in coughing up phlem for the entire race! Maybe you shoul lay off the fags mate!!!! I am sure he brought up his liver at the 4 mile mark!!!! I cant be the only one who was totally discusted by this????

In short: Friendly, well organised, excellent marshalls, low key atmosphere and nice rural course
In full: It was very hot this year but four water stations were welcome. Only criticism - next year why not bring people up the hill to the start rather than have lots of slower runners fighting their way from the start line back to the rear. Otherwise, a really well organised, friendly race through some great countryside.

In short: Good event
In full: A well organised event with plenty of marshalls and those well needed water stations, last couple were a bit close together but I needed them both!! Good warm weather today made the course testing but not too bad, I enjoyed it and will be back next year.

In short: Well organised picturesque race.
In full: Very well organised race through pretty country roads. Start a bit congested but otherwise no bad marks. Water stations where needed. Bargain in comparison to many. Well done to the organisers, I'll be back next year.

In short: Very good, great way to spend a Sunday morning.
In full: This is a very enjoyable race. The course is pretty and fairly flat. Four drinks stations were appreciated on this scorching day.

A megaphone is needed to give out instructions at the start - I haven't a clue what was being shouted out before we started.

Hope the lady who collapsed 200m from the end was OK.

See you next year.
