In short: A delightful day out
In full: Organisation good and remarkably so for a first run of a race. Encouraging marshalls, water table bods etc. Lovely scenery. Well run without being too strict - start was delayed so a reasonable number of people could get their loo visit done!

In short: Excellent organisation, fantastic & supportive marshalls.
In full: Great race with plenty of room to park and run. Marshalls were the best ever and very supportive all the way round. Great medal. See you next year!!

In short: Great race, varied and interesting course, well organised.
In full: Magnificent country views with plenty of hills and turns to keep it interesting. Lots of room to run, never felt as if my pace was dictated to me. Plenty of water at all drink stations. Shiny and substantial completion medal. The organisation felt very smooth and laid back.

In short: Well organised race
In full: The most well organised race I have been to for years. The best goody bag I have ever received - some snacks, training diary and not lots of paper to recycle. The medal also stands out as one of the best that I have received. The drink station staff were supportive and the marshalls did a fantastic job of controlling the traffic.

I'll be back next year or in the Autumn to do another 20.

In short: Loved it. Friendly and about as flat as you'll get in the downs area.
In full: Wonderful race and surprised myself at finishing. Great marshals and just the minor lack of jelly babies to moan about. Never run this far before but will be back next year if held.
Can't remember what was in the goody bag or exactly how i got home but all in all a delightful way to spend a sunday morning.

In short: Excellent HQ, great organisation, lots of encouragement at the water stations
In full: I thought this was great, excellent location for the start finish with plenty of parking and easy to get away at the end. The marshals were very encouraging and coped well with the traffic. The water stations, particularly at 13 and 17 miles, could be heard from miles away! The bag at the end looked as though it was going to be disappointing but actually was a pleasant surprise with chocolate and other goodies – I always think this should be the easiest bit to get right but so many others have failed. Course was nice with a couple of gentle hills to keep it interesting – I would do this even if I wasn’t training for a marathon. Well done!

In short: 7 miles of pleasnt coutry lanes, 3 miles of pain
In full: Not a great fun of looped races as it feels harder to do the same bit twice. This was made worse by the 3 mile section around the airfield. The wind made it tough as did the view of the 2+ miles or road ahead of you. Very tough mentally. One the plus side, the medal was one of the best I have ever got. Really big, shiny and heavy. Thanks.
