In short: It was a pleasure to take part in an event where the volunteers were so friendly and welcoming, making me feel a lot more enthusiastic, and really look forward to running. The race atmosphere was brilliant, spectators, volunteers & runners included. In full: I will definitely be taking part again next year if I'm still in London, it's a real highlight of the racing calender to be involved in supporting such a great cause. Having said that, the volunteers never gave a sense of pushing the Pride agenda too hard, they were all just extraordinarily encouraging and friendly, which created a really warm running environment.
It's also a nice course for a PB, not as quick as a one-lapper, as faster runners need to move between people or take the longer route round the outside, but the views and atmosphere more than made up for the business, which anyway is a mice race feature. Date of review: August 22, 2013
