In short: a well organised event in an attractive historical city. Loads of fuel and support. Not to be missed!

In short: Excellent organisation, great support and a lovely course
In full: This is one of the best organised, most friendly races I've entered. Great facilities at the racecourse with quick baggage drop and plenty of toilets. The support from the marshals throughout was fantastic and there were plenty of well-stocked water stations. The course through lovely Cheshire and Welsh country side is slightly more undulating than you might expect, but the views make up for it. Will definitely be back again!

In short: Well organised, friendly marshalls, good course
In full: Very well organised and friendly event. Organiser even on hand at the end to give me my bottle of water.
Largely flat course with a couple of short but steep hills at around 24 miles (ouch) - still managed to beat my PB by 52 minutes though (!) coming in at 3:32
I am currently stepping back down to 1/2's again now and have already entered next year's at Chester in May (also got my half PB earlier at Chester this year in 1:29) so I like Chester!!

In short: Virtually traffic free which was fantastic and helps runners to enjoy the lovely surroundings. Going into/out of Wales is a nice touch as well.

In short: A very enjoyable, well organised event
In full: Great support from marshalls and public all along the route. All drinks stations very slick with friendly volunteers. Drinks in bottles much better than cups

In short: Great organisation
In full: Well done to all the organisers, the only thing that could be improved would be to make a few more toilets available at the start, the queue was very long. The route is very scenic and the long sleeve technical top is worth every painful mile. It wasn't my best marathon time but would I do it again......yes (especially if the weather could be guaranteed to be sunny again).
