In short: another boss race in sefton park! In full: i love running in sefton park and always do the races wen they are on. this is my fav cos the park is so beautiful in autumn, and weather is usually perfect for running in.
well in for responding to the feedbak on previous years run liverpool i couldnt fault u at all!
spectators, stewards, goody bag, medal, t-shirt were all fantastic, AND i got a running analysis and free massage at the end! bonus!
2 negatives: my chip time was ovr 2 mins out, and yes i did av it scanned at the end! not bothered i no it happens sometimes so always time myself.
but the 1 that shocked me the most was the other runners, normally no 1 gets away with walkin cos every1 around them is so encouraging and ya make at least 2 new mates on the way round but today every1 was just ignoring each other?!
In short: Good for spectators (onece you found it!) and very quick for runners. In full: A decent course, let down slightly by a lack of directions to the course (marshals didn't know where car park was) and some very uneven road sufraces. However, its pat as a flancake and quick as a result. A good course for specatators to see you at least twice (3 times with some quick walking!) Date of review: October 7, 2007
In short: Great improvement In full: Run Liverpool must have listened to feed back from previous years, all round improvements. Stewards very supportive and pleasant. Not one complaint from me.Well done. Date of review: October 7, 2007
In short: A great 10K that is very well organised. In full: Cannot recommend this one enough. Well worth the travel from MCR to do this race. Good quality medal/t-shirt thrown in as well. Date of review: October 7, 2007
In short: Good race, medal and t-shirt. In full: Fast flat course and yet again managed a pb. Value for money this year with a stylish medal and tshirt. Didn't see any problems and all looked to go smoothly. Date of review: October 7, 2007
In short: Well organised with a decent goodie bag. Flat and fast. In full: Run 'round this route a fair bit anyhow but it is a little different with a few thousand others. Really well organised run. Thanks to all involved. Date of review: October 7, 2007
In short: GIVE THIS RACE TO THE GREAT RUN ORGANISERS In full: I have been running for nearly five years now and competing in numerous cities around the country it is sad to say as a local lad how badly organised the liverpool events are time after time they get no better, could they nnot take a leaf out of Manchesters book or Newcastle's. These cities actually close down for the best part of the day and there are no complaint Liverpool does and then changesd the route come on Mr Alan Rothwell sort it out before it is too late Date of review: October 17, 2006
