In short: First class organisation and the views are not bad either! In full: Great day and well thought out - plenty of water etc. I was surprised I got my time texted to me in a few minutes. Could even enjoy this in rubbish autumn weather but we were lucky on the day. Fellow Duffers may have found a couple nagging inclines but no problem if you've trained and going at a sensible pace. A few pinch-points around road narrowing and some turns but the only real hazard was avoiding water bottles not thrown off-road Date of review: October 18, 2010

In short: In full: Enjoyable but some people took it far too seriously - being sworn at for passing someone spoilt the day for me. There was lots of support to the day which was absolutely tremendous. I was very disappointed by the television programme shown on the half marathon - too much time was taken up showing "celebrities". Date of review: October 18, 2010

In short: feel good race with great support all along the course In full: Second time I'd run this race and I thought last year was better organised. Big toilet block at the start of the festival area meant you had to fight through a crowd to get in. Baggage area was very slow and some people were still trying to put their bags in when the race was starting. BMF pacers were a great idea but only available for 3 times. Some of us slower ones ould have done with a pacer- it might have pushed us to a slightly quicker time. Date of review: October 17, 2010

In short: One of my favourite races of the year In full: Great event - wonderfully organised, great atmosphere - a little pricey - but it is only once a year and the scenary (espceially the first 6 miles) rivals any city in the world! Date of review: October 15, 2010

In short: Great combo of cityscapes and greenery, great atmosphere and slick organisation In full: Really well organised, especially the warmup before ( more and louder please next time), the pace runners so you could see if you were on track, and, my favourite, I loved the Percy pigs! This is a brilliant run combining amazing cityscapes with greenery, the great atmosphere of a large run but smooth as clockwork on the organisation. Had a great lunch after - more jazz please and less kickboxing on the stage! Finally the t-shirt rocks, my favourite of the summer! Date of review: October 14, 2010
