In short: Fantastic race through some of the best bits of London!
In full: The atmosphere was great and definitely one for beginners - this was my first half marathon since I started running in April.
It was very well organised with plenty of water points, although I agree with the comments about toilets!
Couldnt face the food, but the family enjoyed it!

In short: recommended for people who like london events
In full: I liked the t-shirt - good to have one that you can train in rather than a cotton one post race. If only I had trained... a well organised event overall. More toilets needed - if you get there early you only end up needing to go again. Loads of free food and I particularly appreciated the percy pigs. Pretty medal. Was crowded in places but this is to be expected with an event this size. As I approached the start line everyone was walking, but as soon as we hit the chip start we broke into a run.

In short: Best HM in London
In full: Lucky enough to get entry to and run all three RPHMs and consider it a great race on a flat and fairly open course given the number of runners.

All the sights of central London, great organisation and marhsalling, lots of freebies
and plenty of spectators/support on the course. And the weather was good, too.

Shame about the motif on and colour of the t-shirt (2009 as bad); the 2008 shirt was much better.

In short: Perfect weather, probably a good one for first-timers
In full: A race very much of two halves, the city then the park. Great PB potential and plenty of great goodies at the end, including Marmite on toast and Tetley tea.

The only problems that need to be rectified are: toilets - no way near good enough for an event of this scale, and the technical t-shirt - one of the ugliest pieces of sports clothing ever designed, it will go straight to the charity bin.

In short: Great first time Half Marathon
In full: Loved the route, and running past Big Ben chiming 10am is pretty special!
Yes, there's a lot of doubling back in Hyde Park, but that didn't bother me and I thought it was a great race, and a great introduction to the distance - really friendly and well organised!

In short: Great for first time half marathon runners
In full: The Royal Parks Half Marathon was my first race and i loved it.

Only thing is they need more unrinals as the toilets were a bit of a joke.
