In full: I love off-road running and this is the toughest 10k race I have done. The downhills are quite thrilling, and the ups very testing although I was pleased to have been able to keep running. Excellent organisation. Date of review: August 15, 2010

In short: an easy intro to AAT events In full: having scaled the hills to St Marthas a few times during the G3 series earlier in the year this seemed easy by comparison. the guys at AAt always turn out a challenging course, and this was no exception. plenty of climbs on good forest trails with the occasional sprinkle of sand to steal the last of your reserves. free goodness shakes and banana, and a sense of acheivement are a great substitute for a medal. try it, you might like it.
