In short: Challenging, spectacular but well worth it!
In full: Great race but I wish I had prepared more for the hills.I was not going for a PB but more as part of my training for the Dublin marathon.Volunteers on route were great as were the marshalls who encouraged us along the way, particularly at the tough spots. Well organised event and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. Loved that last, fast mile downhill!Am booked in again next year for my sins!

In short: A half-marathon to rememeber!
In full: OK - so not much chance of a PB, but for once - who cares? with the most spectacular scenery, organisation, atmosphere - not to mention an awesome final 1.1 miles - straight downhill to the finishline. Fantastic day - in my book the power gels, end hog roast and glass of vino more than made up for the hefty pricetag - ill certainly be back next year :)

In short: What a race!
In full: This has got to be the best half i've ever done. Though the PB went out of the windowm after the first wine tastign stop. The weather was glorious scenery amazing and a definate for next year. Well done to everyone for making it a very enjoyable experience. The drinks stations were the best ever. I urger everyone to give this a go next year.

In short: Brings fun back into running
In full: Excellent new race - great views, excellent marshalls, and plentiful water and wine stops. Not sure if it was deliberate, but liked the way the wine being sampled seemed to link into the part of the run - Flint Valley for the lowlands, and Juniper Hill at the top. The dried bananas, apricots, yoghurt raisins and digestive biscuits at mile 8 were a great thought - maybe have those at some of the other drinks stations next year? With the jelly babies and power gels, no need to run carrying anything. I've been converted to dried bananas as a mid-race snack for the future.

Well done, and looking forward to next year.
