In short: Good Half Marathon but was it the correct distance?
In full: I cant fault the organisation for this one, park and ride was brilliant (and very quick transfers top and from the race), the use of the toilets at the race course were welcomed, changing and baggage was very handy and seemed to work well. The race was "very busy an narrow" in places, usual problems with runners being a little bit off with their anticipated times so therefore were in the wrong pens!! (nothing new there though) My garmin also made the course alot longer than the 13.1? Other than that great weather and a great supporting crowd. Many Thanks to the volunteers that helped put the event on!

In short: Great half marathon but was it too long again? I made it 21.63km.
In full: Good atmosphere, lots of refreshments, friendly, flat and great scenery. I think it was too long again though as I made it 21.63km.

In short: Nice flat route with definite PB potential
In full: This race has had some poor feedback over the last few years, but I couldn't fault it this year! Well organised, nice route with nice views, good crowd control and nice medal!! Excellent PB potential with the route being mainly flat! I'll definitely be back again!!

In short: So much better organised than previous years
In full: Near perfect running conditions. After 'difficulties' in previous years this race ran well today. No problems with toilets or baggage as in previous years. Well marshalled and frequent water stations. Race is certainly at its limit size-wise a fair bit of jostling in first couple miles. Fairly steep entry fee but demand is there.

In short: Well organised race but was it too long again?
In full: Second time running this one and again it delivered. Well organised; well supported; scenic route by the sea; plenty of water and energy drinks which was brilliant and well-manned; fantastic marshalls. For such a big field, the organisation was brilliant.

Nice medal again; goody bag was decidedly average (Mars Bar and packet of crisps).

Lastly, my Nike+ watch measured the course at 21.7Km...nobody else has said anything so I'm guessing I've taken the long way around!

Will be back next year.

In short: Enjoyed my first Brighton half marathon
In full: The course is longer than the half marathon distance (13.2 miles on my Garmin). Nice running along the cliff top to Roedean. Plenty of crowd support. The course is on closed roads/seafront. Ideal event for Brighton marathon training. Will be back next year.

In short: Enjoyed it, great crowds
In full: Great city to run in with its iconic seafront. I know that getting the length wrong annoyed people but as I was training for London I didn't mind at all, plus they gave everyone readjusted chip times.
