In short: It's the world's biggest. Nuff said.
In full: Don't run it for the PB, run it for the atmosphere, because the atmosphere is absolutely amazing.

In short: The atmosphere makes this a very special race
In full: This was my 4th GNR and its just as speical as the first time. The sight of all those people, all with the same aim in mind is awesome. And as ever the local support was fantastic. A truly memorable day - still get goose bumps thinking about it!

In short: great race
In full: My first race and enjoyed every minute. Will try and do it again.I agree with comments about getting home at the end,so we went to the pub while the traffic died down. Will try and stay over next year and make a long weekend of it.

In short: Made for Fundraising
In full: Seems to be better organised than my first attempt in 2006. More control at the start so people were in the right pens and a larger emergency services presence. Great atmosphere, great scenery - great day! Still tough to get a PB with so many people running and that awful climb near the finish!

In short: A wonderful day out - but not for the traffic home!
In full: A PB for me after 5 yrs - finally broke the 2 hour mark (v. smug even now!) and as ever, great atmosphere and support.
But the traffic marshalling at the end seems to have gone downhill - took an age to get off the seafront this year (1 hr 30 mins, actually). And I was a bit disappointed that GreatRun seem to now be charging to download your own certificate when its only costing them less than pennies, espically given the entry fee.
