In short: A definite addition to my calendar. Organisation and atmosphere were the best.
In full: Great support from the locals. More police than a home office commercial. Fantastic marshalls. This was a fantastic race - well done to the organisers.

Make the fun run before the main race - 11:00 is quite late and there's plenty of time. This would alieviate your traffic worries too (as long as the fun run doesn't use a road of course - shouldn't do - there's plenty of common on the sea front)

Anyway - well done - keep it up.

In short: Well organised, flat course, excellent PB potential
In full: A well organised and marshalled event, however I agree with many comments on the car parking. I was there early, so managed to get a space, glad I wasn't running late for the start! The car parks really need signing to make things a bit easier. The course was one for fast running, not admiring the scenery, I took 3 mins off my PB, so I was very happy with it! Well done to all involved organising.

In short: Excellent Marshalling, shame about the 10 min delay at start however this did not spoil the day. Car parking should be improved.

In short: Great marshalling - nice medal
In full: The car parking needs sorting - or at least signing......but the Marshalling was really excellent. Keeping the traffic going around the likes of Asda's entrance without us geting squashed was brilliant. I thing the lady in the standard wheelchair looked frightened when she was in the middle of the busy traffic lane ...a great great effort by her, but safety for her didn't look that hot.

In short: Gtreat day out, but unfortunately 'The spirit was willing but the flesh was weak.'
In full: Big thanks to the organisers. The marshalls deserve a special thanks, they were great.
I had a great time and set a PB, but just couldn't beat the time I had set myself.

Would have been nice to have the fun-run BEFORE the main event.

One good thing about doing two laps is you know the route for the second lap, helps to know that there are no nasty surprises towards the end.

Nice medal, great atmosphere, and my 8 yr old is chuffed to bits with her medal.

Back again next year.

In short: Great marshalls, good course. Would run again
In full: Shame about the delayed start, parking was very poor indeed. My family almost missed the start, surely somthing could be sorted out, would have been good to know time at beginning of second lap. Otherwise a very well organised race, nice medal.
