In short: Although it rained continuously, the mrashalls' support was fantastic

In short: Done it twice so far. If I could only do one half-marathon a year then this would be it. I particularly liked the monsoon this year as I had never swam a half marathon.

In short: Some tough hills, particularly the one at 8 miles, many walking, very wet this year wadding through ankle deep water for several metres, hard going, but somehow enjoyable, probably the achievement (my time 1:52)

In short: Suicidal because of the conditions. Torrential rain, flooded roads, ankle deep in freezing water. 11/10 for the marshalls who braved ridiculous conditions to help us get round.

In short: Very hilly but scenery makes you forget the pains !!!Even the flooded roads this year were memorable !

In short: This was my first half marathon and I completely enjoyed it. However, it was the wettest day in a good few months and as a result large parts of the course were waterlogged. It all added to the challenge though! Amazing.
