In short: Hot! Hot! Hot! & Cakes galore
In full: Great race, fab secneary, brilliant cakes at the end. My time was 15 minutes down on last year. Very hot. 4 drink stations normally enough, but under the conditions more than a cup of water needed at each drink stop.

In short: Exceptional pre race information
In full: Lovely sunny day. Queueing to get over the style was a novelty but on the way back a leg over (the style) by a marshall much appreciated

In full: Lots of friendly smiling marshalls. Fantastic cake at the finish. It was obvious that organisers had thought about the "detail".

In short: A challenge in a great atmosphere
In full: Couldn't hear the announcements before the start. Also, why did the water on the way round taste of disinfectant? Overall, a great day and very pleased with my time! Thanks.
