In short: Great technical shirt and medal, the rest of the goody bag was also good. In full: Not got a bad word to say about the event. The organisation was good with plenty of marshalls both at the start/finish and around the course. Had to cross a couple of open roads but as I said the marshalls did a fine job.
Will admit that this years race was a little dull weather wise, but the scenery would I'm sure be glorious if I could have actually seen much of it for the mist/cloud.
Another good point was that the large sized shirts were actually large enough to fit someone who wasn't a racing snake build, unlike the shirts I've had at other events. Date of review: February 12, 2012

In short: Top Dog. Flawless organisation and probably the flattest course in the uk! In full: These guys really know how to organise a race. If they could move the start/finish to allow it, this race could become one of the biggest 10ks on the UK Calendar. With the wind as still as today it's a lightning quick course! Goody bag is great and the atmosphere in Southport was really positive. Well done! Date of review: February 12, 2012
